Must-Do Activities ​Near the Passage House Hotel

Around the beautiful area of the Teign, there are many exciting must do activities that are available to you to participate in, to ensure that your stay is one to remember. The activities are suitable for all ages and perfect for an enjoyable family day out, spending time with your other half or even having a relaxing time on the beach enjoying the sun.

1) Teignmouth Sea Sports

Not far from the Passage House Hotel is a beautiful sea side place called Teignmouth, they have a sea sport club that are passionate about making lives by the sea more exhilarating. There are many things to do there such as:

• Sea Kayaking
• RYA Youth Sailing
• RYA Windsurfing
• Safety Boat
• Power boat
• Ocean Rowing

​​2) Go Segway – Exeter/Haldon

Don’t miss out on a remarkable day trip to Haldon forest, a place in which has many fun and exciting activities for you and your family to take part in. one activity which should be tried is called “Go Segway”, this takes you on exciting adventure around the trail of Haldon Forest. “Go Segway” will guarantee you a extraordinary day trip! 3) Shaldon golf

Fancy a round of golf? Why not give Shaldon Pitch and Putt a go! Play around a course which has amazing surroundings and with a view that overlooks Teignmouth which you can’t beat. The course has a full 18 holes, giving you the choice between a leisurely half-round and making a full day of sporty exertion. 4) Teignmouth Town

Teignmouth Town is a beautiful Devonshire seaside town that has something for everyone. Whether you fancy a day relaxing on the beach, playing crazy golf, or playing on the historical Pier. Enjoy one of our local café or restaurants and try our local seafood.

5) Dartmoor

Dartmoor is a magical landscape which feels ancient and untamed. You will witness magnificent views from all the superb tors.  Many films have been shot on Dartmoor, including the recent Steven Spielberg blockbuster ‘War Horse’. There are many beautiful animals to encounter such as Dartmoor ponies, cows and sheep. This is just a taste of what this beautiful area has to offer, so what are you waiting for?
